Race Driver 3 Honda Civic Demo not recognizing DFP steering axis

this game does recognize the steering axis on my DFP, it recognizes the pedals as an axis but when i try to assign the wheel to turn left no resposne, when i play the game the car moves when i press the pedal but no turning response from the wheel, i have the controlls set up for wheel in the options menue, and the wheel works perfect in LFS, could it be that since its a demo it has bugs?

seriously man. dont waste your time with that game at all. it is really a crappy demo.:shrug:
