In order to prevent a re-occurance of the farce last night, and to promote exciting and above all clean racing, the following changes are made to the LFSBC with immediate effect:
[Round 3 moved to UF-BR+XF-JR/Fern Bay Green/12 laps] - (to be discussed with Dekojester)
Round 5 moved to FOX/Kyoto National/9 laps
Round 6 moved to FBM/Aston Club/2x7 laps
Round 7 moved to GTR/Westhill Reversed/20 laps
Reform to the Safety Car rules [to be discussed between me and Dekojester]
A requirement that all competitiors understand the meaning of 'shut up' and 'be quiet' (seriously!)These changes will hopefully mean that there will be more close racing, less safety car periods and more chance for you to experience League Racing.

Yes, although that wasn't really the problem at Round 2, it was the track choice and the attitudes of some racers.

Good changes there I think :thumb:
I'm glad to see Aston Club & the GTRs @ Westhill included.
One question - will the FOX @ Kyoto still be the Rockingham layout?

One question - will the FOX @ Kyoto still be the Rockingham layout?
No. I think it will cause far too many accidents.
NB: This round is FOX @ Kyoto National NORMAL - not reversed as it was with the FBM.
NB2: Major rule changes coming soon. Please keep coming to the forum for updates.

Round 6 will be a double header - 2x7 laps with the second race being reverse grid.

So is R3 not going to be SO? I was looking forward to that combo...

Maybe not. I'm discussing it with Dekojester tonight.

Fair enough...although I think that SO would provide some good close racing. CTRA Race 1 use it, and that's a beginner's race, and I haven't seen any big accidents there before...

That's why I chose it in the first place.
However, the cars we're using are faster than STD cars and use cold tyres, all the time. I don't want to risk it and so that's why I wanted to change. Sorry about that :)

Maybe there should be a poll on it? I'm sure some people want to change, and some people want it to stay. You don't have to use the results of the poll, but it might help you guys to make a decision

I think you have a typo. According to the calendar Round 5 is the autox. Unless we're eliminating the autox and still running aston north...
Calendar:
24/2/08 R4: Aston North - FXO/RB4/XRT - 7 laps
2/3/08 R5: http://www.lfsforum.net/attachment.p...0&d=1200214 218 (http://www.lfsforum.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=47170&d=1200214218) - MRT - 15 laps

Good Idea(s)
Judging by last nights race, the AutoX layout would be even more pointless

The original is THE fast, flowing circuit, the LFSBC version was just complete and utter shite.
