Cant change the color in my name [solved]

Anyone else having this problem? I went to change my name and the ^ and a number doesnt turn into a color. So what happened?

The recent change to version Q means you must press Control whilst in a message box, and click on the colour for the subsequent text. The ^ is no longer a colour character.
