Racing for a team

afternoon guys and gals :P been thinking about team racing and what u need and have to do to get into one.

whats the best way to go about it and what will racing for a team intail what will i have to do and whats the set up for races etc any help would be great :)

I think the best thing about racing in a team is that you get to know people much better, I would say you get to know new friends :)
The whole racing will be more personal, and you always "know where to go when you want to talk about lfs".

To get in a team can be quite difficult if your slow and an idiot, but you dont appear to be hehe :D
The best way is to go directly to the team you like, and ask them (online on a server, forum, etc.)

Setup for races - dont know what exactly you mean, I guess how races are arranged. This will differ a lot between various teams, but if the team has it's own server, you dont have to worry about that.
Many teams even have an internal league, which is very cool :)

well i used to play half life in a clan for a bit play home map and away map of clans choice.

would i have to pick a team that races track/tracks or do they change and is it the same with the cars as well do u rave diffrent cars and tracks all the time?

it all depends on the team. Best bet.. wait a short time. get to know some poeple on a Teams server (if they have one) then go to their forum or ask them in a server and most will be willing to help you out... Also depends on what YOU are lookingfor in a team and what can be contributed to the team by you.

I would suggest looking in the Teams section of this forum.. alot of news for teams gets posted there

getting to know a team is the best way you can get in. thats what i did :P
they couldnt get rid off me, so i had to join!

just hang around with whatever group you feel comfortable/competitive with. this way your races will be fun and close.

bear in minds that some teams may be elitist, but this would be fairly obvious as they will be very competitive and therefore have every right only to accpet compeitive drivers.

other teams wont care about your speed, if they like you then im sure they would let you join in.

its kinda like if you want to join a racing team, or a racing club.

also bear in mind, some teams might be pretty damn busy already, so probably wont be accepting new drivers.

anyway, have fun racing. hope you find the right bunch for what you want to do.
