Hey there!

After all the mostly stupid threads I've read and wrote about rx7's and the nordschleife I've got a new suggestion to make...

I love the sound of the lfs cars. Yes, they're all not completely real but they give great feedback of what your right foot is doing atm.
But wouldn't it be possible to change the sound of the BOV (for turbos) or to bring a new sound to the bigger non-turbo cars which pops and snots a bit like leMans or Rally cars? I don't care about exhaust flames or stuff... this may be in s3, but I think misfire could add a little more realism without much work to do.

Maybe in S3 where we will hopefully have whole new sound engine, which mixes up generated sounds with samples or something. :)

i thought about that noise too, but i'm too lazy and not good enough to make one on my own.
but i would like to have a sound like this instead of the "sshhhhh..."-bov too :thumb:

With all these engines based mainly on production fours there's no engine that should be making a miss fire.

Unless it has an anti turbo lag system. Which none of the cars do.

you may have a point there :scratchch :)

but the devs should do something about the idle and the "foot-of-the-pedal"-sound - it doesn't seem to sound right
the idle-sound could be fixed by varying the idle-rpm by small bits, it wouldn't sound that monotone then
