editing skins

hey im farley new to lfs and am trying to create different skins, for example on the fxr i wish to change the intercooler colour is there any possible way to do this i have tryed but no go. it will change paint of car but not intercooler colour, and help much apreciated.

Look for the appropriate texture in the dds folder (I dont know wich, for not being at home). However, it doesnt change the skin, but only your LFS' FXO. Other people besides you wont see it.

hey having bit of trouble downloading a ddr image editor most of them wont view it of just fuk up, any one know of any good ones out there>??

Paint Shop Pro combined with the nVidia DDS plugins (extract the downloaded zip to the PSP Plugins folder) is the best and cheapest (30 day trial on PSP).
