would it be possible to do it on a Friday? I was thinking either the 21st or the 28th

I would not want it on a Friday because there is a good chance the time will not allow me (and some others) to get home quick enough from school.

It was only a suggestion, if no one else can make it on a friday then I guess I'll just have to deal with it. But please consider it.

Maybe. Lets see what date this comes out with first. I don't especially want to be racing on Good Friday. Any non-term time Friday is good for me.
btw what time (CET) will it start?
CET is GMT +1 isnt it?
By the looks of it we'll still be in GMT when the race is. I'd say that the race will be 2h long, and quali 30 mins. Around 7-7.30 pm GMT, so that's:
[all pm!]
8-8.30 CET
3-3.30 AT
2-2.30 ET
1-1.30 CT
12-12.30 MT
11-11.30 PT
(is that right?!) :D

Hey guys,
I made a note on my entry it's provisional. I can't race on Sundays at all \, because I work form 12-5 PST. So, if it was on a sunday, I'd be at work a half hour after the race starts. Just let you know that, and I voted for all the Saturdays.

The Race will be Easter Saturday, 03/22/08 (:)) starting at 7pm GMT.
If I get loads of complaints about this (for some reason - u voted for it!) then it will be moved to the following saturday.

for others who want to know what time it will be:
eastern time (EST) would be -5 (or -4 as daylight saving, EDT) that would mean 1400/1500 (as I do not know when there is the "time changing")
btw: if you use the military alphabet code for this gaphic you'll see: z is zulu is UTC, a is alpha is ...
you'll find everything en detail under the posted link above

For people in eastern US/Canada it should start at 2pm because it will not be DST so it's GMT-5 for those competitors.:)

Are we sure here?
DST is supposed to take effect on March 9th for us this year and for Europe March 30th.
If we went two years back (2006) then DST wouldn't be until April. Remember, Bush changed it to 3 weeks earlier.
