is there a way to make lfs run on linux? i know that a good programer could do it, but i aint one. so do you think that the team working on lfs will eventually make it so it can run on other OS's, i guess its just not there main concern right now.

i know peoople have been running lfs on unix system by using wine.

i just gave wine 0.9.3 a try and it works quite decent on my hardware (p4 2.8ghz, gf6800gt)

though you need to run winecfg and set vertex shader support to 'none' and go into lfs graphics options and set simple track (no car shadow) to 'all'

i havent tried with a wheel, but i remember reading that wine now also supports forcefeedback (maybe someone wants to give that a shot?)

edit: but playing online (or with AI) will kill the framerates, so its not really playable unless you just want to drive by yourself i guess
