problems with steering wheel

Hey!

I have an old steering wheel plugged to my computer which I want to use with LFS..

However, it works just perfect apart from one thing: while steering it acts crazy.. There's no smooth movement of the wheels instead they switch to the left and to right right very fast so that I can't do any accurate steering.

Which setting can help me?! :)

Sounds like you maybe need to recalibrate the wheel. Go to "options\controls\..." I can't remember what comes after controls but you'll next see the option to recalibrate. Hope it helps.

I have to recalibrate every time I start the game up.

Options / controls / axis/ff then click Recalibrate then (most improtant part) move you wheel from lock to lock and back then push break and gas pedals and release them then all should work fine.

Thanks for the tip, I've already searched the forums and so I recalibrated it but that doesn't work..

The steering is like uber nervous :(
