IGTC 2008 Season Team Numbers

Hello drivers!

The following are the assigned team numbers for the 2008 season of the IGTC.

Team numbers have been assigned in order of signup, with the exception of #1, which has been given to last year's champion. The Privateer team will carry #99.

After the start of the season, if a team withdraws from the series that team's number will be retired for the season. Any new teams will take the next highest number, following the last team to have joined.

*(probationary) tag indicates continuing reservations on the part of the admin team. We feel that these teams possess the qualities necessary for IGTC participation but have issues regarding their performance in the most recent race. Should these reservations persist after the next round, we may ask these teams to withdraw from the series.

Good question... though official skins are not required, we were planning on having drivers use the regular in-race naming conventions anyway, which include the team number.

So...

Pending teams should use the following numbers:
101 flash-racing (FXR)
102 Serbian Hell Drivers (XRR)
103 Northstar R4R (FZR)

Note that number is just for the test race. If you're accepted into the regular season roster you'll get a normal number. :)

A question.

I see that the number 6 entry has been withdrawn.... so with so many teams being with C in the teen's is there any chance that the Cocept Racing Entry could take the number 6? :D after all the next team to us almost has the same initials.

gives a nice space then between CD and c4R.

Maybe would avoid some confusion in vent/ts/irc/ etc etc ?

At this point it looks like all three teams who requested 2nd cars for the test race will get them, so assuming that holds true:

104 TDRT #2
105 Concept Racing #2
106 Dynamic Racing #2

Number on skin can have a leading zero or not, up to you.

Number in-game should have the leading zero for uniformity's sake.

Probationary teams for Round 2 have been updated in the OP.

Removed from probationary status:
12 Team XFR
27 Northstar R4R

These teams performed well enough in Round 1 to erase our doubts about their capabilities.

Remaining on probationary status:
18 c4Racing

Not enough time before disconnect issues to judge performance.

New probationary status:
09 Independent Slovak eRacing Team
25 Alias Racing Team 2

These teams all suffered from some erratic driving, car control issues, or problems with being lapped/situational awareness, and will be contacted individually regarding their status.
