Cant Turn.

Hi all, Obviously I'm new to LFS. I have a Logitech Wingman Formula GP and in game i car hardly turn, i can only turn by an incredibly small amount. In the options screen when i turn ny steering wheel the slider moves Fully to the left and right. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in Advance.

overkiller, perhaps you overkill with corner entry speed - what do you mean? Does the car not steer at all even at low speeds (under 30kph). Is your wheel proerly calibrated?

My wheel is properly calibrated. And even at low speeds my car wont turn :shrug:

What steering lock does the setup of your car use (under steering)?

In the options where you select "wheel/js" (don't know the exact button name, and i'm too lazy too look :shy:), you can set the steering wheel radius (?) to 180°. and try messing around with the steering wheel compensation. or maybe your setup has too low steering lock

Are you sure you're not just turning the wheel so far that the front wheels are losing grip and causing you to understeer? This is a very common problem among those new to LFS, especially if you're used to arcade racing games like GT4 or NFS.

sometimes it wont work properly if Calibration Lock is on (happened to me when i started) also are the drivers installed up to date? and one other thing i found was that i sometimes HAD to have my logitech profiler on for the wheel to work properly.
