Hi
Just trying the demo and when I either start in pits or crash and go to pits I can't get out. The engine is revving but I go nowhere. Is there something I have to do before I can get out. Thanks.

Ok thanks for that. Part of me thought it was on auto but I also pressed the + key with no effect. Is that the right key for gear up.

it might be a good idea to check your settings and see where you put that key for upshifting :scratchch
....at least this is what i would do

Are you using a wheel? And if you do, when you turn it - does the virtual wheel turn aswell? If its not your input device isnt configured properly. Check your control options and set it to keyboard just to be safe.
The default key for gearing up is is S.

So when you start the race from the startline, you can change gears but not when you start from the pits?

...that's because in the pits you start off in Neutral, on the line it automatically selects First. Even if you are driving with auto gears, you have to make that first gear change out of the pits.

Thanks guys. All I had to do was press S in the pits. I just presumed that if in automatic it would change. I am only using my mouse at the moment so it's not ideal. I have a wheel but I have to set it up. I have to say that this game does seem fun and online speed seems good. I love Project Gotham2 on XBox live. I may well buy the full version once I test it with my wheel. see you.
