Hello fellow drivers.

I just got back into LFS, and I am keen in participating on the CTRA. I have had a look at the main website, but I couldn't find the page where I could register. Are all drives full at the moment, or have I miseed the page?

Thanks

Then you have read wrong there is no need to register. You can just join CTRA race 1 and start progressing in license. In the server you can set a MyCTRA password which can be handy to track stuff about progress on the website.

Registration is absolutely NOT required, Clean driving however is.

That's great, thanks very much :).

It's more like auto-registration, than not required.

When you join Race 1 your CTRA licence is started. You don't need to log in - just join the CTRA server like any other and we take care of the rest. All we ask is that you read and agree to the rules when you first join - that is a condition of racing on our servers.

When on a server, use $? to get help and instructions on how to use the CTRA system. If you set a password you can then log in to www.raceauthority.com and look at yet more info. :)

Hello guys,

I believe this could be a sticky thread. I've browser for almost an hour in the CTRA main website looking for the registration page. At least these basic instructions (no need for registration, just join race, you may set your MyCTRA password on the server) should be on the site, IMO.

Thanks and regards,
Mauricio

In order to access the CTRA Web-based elements of MYCTRA you need to have stored a password in the password field while connected to a CTRA server. Once first set in the CTRA server, you can change your password at will in the web interface. It is essential, to maintain licence security, that access to your MYCTRA is tied directly to your licence username.

But for those whose first language is not English it could still be a little confusing. At no point does it say 'No registration required on this site, create your CTRA account in-game'.

That is indeed true. :) Hadn't thought of that.
