Hello there!

I am having serious troubles with a Thrustmaster Formula T2 and the latest Patch.
Everything worked fine until I applied the Patch Q.
Now I cannot steer in game, calibration works perfectly outside of LFS or on the main LFS options page. But when in game, the axis seem to go crazy:pillepall
Calibration in-game is useless - wheel axis goes plenty more to the right when the wheel is centered. On pedal side it is similar...no pedal pressed and full break values??
Some hints how to solve this strange issue?

Grrr... downgrading to Patch P2 does not seem to be possible....
Error message "could not load font"...:banghead:
Now LFS won't even start any more...

You can download to a P patch, but you need to make sure that abc.abc is also replaced, otherwise it will not work.

The pedals sound like they just need to be inverted (swapped around), and the wheel may need to be recalibrated to the centre, then you need to turn from lock to lock (full left to full right, full right to full left). That might solve your problem.

Either:

Press CTRL + C to reset the controllers while in the game, and then press the pedals fully, and turn the wheel in both directions. That usually calibrates on the fly while in game.

OR

Goto OPTIONS > CONTROLS and at click on Axes/FF -- then click on Recalibrate button and calibrate the controller by moving the controller in all directions.

See what happens.

OK, thank you for you answers. I tried all that at least 10 times but that didn't help .
Now it works again, but it was time consuming and not easy to solve:

First, I don't understand why in Patch P2 the needed abc.abc file is not included. (i found it around in this forum) It should be included, so downgrades are possible.
Anyway, downgrading didn't solve the issue at all. Still had that crazy "to-the-right" steering.
Since I have limited the pedal travel, i removed that - calibrated - and everything worked fine again, seems to be a problem with Formula T2 wheel...
so i am happy again:D

It's not included because it didn't change from the original P release. The patches are cumulative so to downgrade, you have to get the closest "full" release or patch.

Also, when P2 was released nobody could know that the abc file would change in the (at that time not existing) Q patch. Besides that, it would be too much work to actually update each patch version with the files that change in NEWER patches so someone can downgrade. If you want to downgrade, just reinstall the full release and patch it from there. :)
If you don't have it anymore, well, that's a bummer because the full releases automatically get updated with all the patches. But IIRC you can still find old versions on the LFS download server, if you know the name of the file, that is.

But as your problem is solved now, you don't need to downgrade anyways. So it's just a FYI :thumb:
