No, I'm not asking for it to be turned off (as an option). To make pit-stops a bit more common in shorter (<10-20 laps depending on track), perhaps allowing "increased" tyre wear and fuel consumption. Of course, it could be just for offline, but it could work online too.

It definitely won't make it, but don't you think it would be a bit funny to see a FZR AI's rear tyre pop in 2-3 laps?

For a given value of "bit" - but that would be a singularity.

Modern narrative imperative theories generally agree that spontaneous snicker emission is only achieved by the post-accident rolling of a lone hub-cap.

+1 In RL they can throw on some worn tyres to check the handling on the car in "end of the race conditions", this would be a cheap way to get the same goal.

this would increase a lot of realism. at the moment the fuel and tire consumption suck anyway... i can go 120 laps on the oval without needing a pitstop at all.

scalable fuel/tire/clutch/brake-wear should be an option for the next small patch!

The possibility to start on worn tyres would be a variant (not as hardcore as nKpro where you have to manually change tyres between sessions to remove flat spots though)

No, that would NOT be realistic in any possible way :P
