Have you been looking for a server to race on, where racers are online during around night time?:thumb:

are you sick of having to wait for some good drivers to come on untill the early hours of the morning?:nod:

i was, so i bought a server for australians to race other australians not just britans who have been up most of their night and are in the mood for wrecking.:scratchch

Team KA Racing Server coming soon:D

------------------------------------------------------------------
races will mostly take place during the year on friday nights, no organized events just casual racing on a fast server with teamspeak available.

Good to see another server around, hopefully its going to be put to good use :) Will certainly pop in and see how things are.

There are actually about 20 other dedicated Aussie servers. That said most of them are never populated. Probably about 25-50 Aussies race through out the week on average. ProRacingRoom is the best place to find people, theres ALWAYS someone on there. Usually a lot more Aussies online (100+) if there are league races (MNR,AAL,LFSEA, etc). List of Aussie servers I'm aware of and have used;
League:

[AAL]Aus #1
[AAL]Aus #2
GSA-XGN OzBee-R
GSA-XGN OzBee-R 2Team:

[MPR] S2 Race Server
~AR~ Austra Racing
Pacifica Racing
OzSport Other:

ProRacingRoom#1
AUS AREA51 serversMost of the Aussies congregate over at A.R.S.E. (http://www.arse.org.au)

If looking for other Aussies I always use SCR's Online Tracker. (http://www.southerncrossracing.com/usersonline.php?filter=all&online=on)

Nice - See you on there. And to any OS people with decent pings to the Aussie servers; wipe the sleep crust from your eyes grab a morning coffee and join in. The Aussie servers I've been on are very friendly and competitive, although the language may stray occasionally. :D :thumb:

nah they just need a dictionary

Mate-friend
Barbie- Outdoor stove
Kangaroo-strange bouncy creature
38degrees- hot day
Western Australia- unknown origin :)
strewth-...shit

with those terms under your belt you should be able to race and understand australians

nah they just need a dictionary

Not quite right :p in LFS speak it should be:

Mate-friend (m8)
Barbie-Outdoor stove (I miss the days when it was a 44gal drum cut in half and a 3mm steel plate :shy: )
Kangaroo-strange bouncy creature (hopping dog)
38degrees- hot day (nah 44 deg is hot :tilt: )
Western Australia- unknown origin :) (wrong again its the only place to be :razz: )
strewth-...shit (does anyone really use that word still :scratchch I haven't heard it for 20 years)

As to a new server in Aust, best of luck with it. If it is every running road cars I'll be sure to pop in. Oh and please please don't set it to all cars :p

Don't forget:

Drongo = Looser
Wanker = One who plays with himself to much
Sheila = girl, as in 'drives like a sheila'
Tin Lids = child, as in 'my tin lids can drive faster/better'
Spaz = retarded
Dry as a dead dingoes donger = time for another beer

Oh, and 38degrees is a hot Winters day.

The other complexity to Aussies is that most times if they abuse you they actually think your a good bloke :D that can be abit hard for some to comprehend lol

I'd offer but I'm really not on LFS enough to warrant it, I can get on the forums far more than I can get on LFS :p

Hmmmm, sounds good.
After reading the translational dictionary, I'm wondering whether or not potential drivers will need to sit John Howards "Australians" test before strapping on their mouse.

I can possibly admin for a while, if my trouble and strife lets me.

looking forward to the server, but my patriotism doesn't stretch as far as using words like 'struth'.

hughesie89
27th December 2007, 04:43
well TenTimes has PM'd me and i have given him the admin password, but i think i will remove the guest password now for anyone to use the server and just put a special welcome message up

The Dr1ft0rs only needed a couple of years to destroy the language. :)

;651581']well it's well on it's way! :D

Oh dear :shy: I'm normally so polite an all too, don't know what came over me :x :razz: Duck it's your fault!

The real tricky bit for the non Aussies is knowing when it is an insult or when its a compliment :D Even us Aussies get a little confused at times and things can get a little uggly :tilt: I've found the best way is to take all insults as complitments :razz:

:scratchch I hear congratulations are in order Duck good luck with mercury :thumb:
