i was playing around with the video settings and seeing which resolution would be good. and i clicked on the last one.. which was like the 1280 one i think. and not knowing this would happen.. the screen went blank and 'Out of range'. now i cant even go back into my options and change the resolution back.. is there any way of changing it back through a config file or something? kinda dont want to reinstall since i got alot of settings im used to .

Load the cfg.txt file, and ind the line "Screen Info"
Mine is: Screen Info 0 70 1280 1024
The 0 means non square
70 is the refresh rate
1280 1024 is the resolution you require.
Try Screen Info 0 70 1024 768

There are shortcut keys to put your system back to four "standard" SVGA settings. The next time you try a mode and it won't work just use the hotkey to go back. They're listed in the upper-right corner on the video settings page.
You can probably run 1280x1024, but you'll have to do it at a lower refresh rate than whatever it is you tried. Personally, i wouldn't recommend running lower than 75Hz.

I discovered the other day that you can program those resolution shortcuts to ones you want to use/test or a known safe one. LFS is full of little surprises like that.
