sound turns off after some time

Hi,

after some time of running lfs my sound will turn off even during driving. I then have to hit strg+n 2 times to bring it back again.
Anyone knows what that is or is this an old one ?

IIRC disappearing sound has happened to me twice. Second time was recently, in the middle of a fast HL... I was using P1 patch, at that time. Now I have upgraded the sound card drivers and it seems to be ok :shrug:.

Shift+w should restore the sound quickly, but why it happens :shrug:
