Few nominations, but all notables. Should be a tough fight.
(Please note that I did not personally select the nominees for each category. There was a nomination period (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=34740) in which anyone could submit nominations. With a few exceptions, the nominees in these polls were those who received more than one nomination each in the given category. For a full explanation of the process used to select the nominees, look here (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=35285).)

GFC without a doubt, the best league I have ever taken part in. The racing is very clean and competitive, and it is very well organised and run.

Amen to that Quicksilver.
It's also worth mentioning the judicial system. When a driver complains then Gentlefoot uploads video of the incident and the drivers themselves vote on rule breaks and punishments according to guidelines, rather than some anonymous collection of admins. Such is the respect among drivers that drivers even voted to punish themselves after looking at the incidents! Others did not vote on punishments for drivers if it may have benefitted their own poisition.
Result - no flame wars, no arguing; lots of grown up behaviour both on and off the track.

Yeah, that is one of the things I like best about the GFC. The judicial system is rock solid and since we introduced the voting system in Round 3 there hasn't been a single complaint of an unjust verdict. That, and the racing is fantastic! The multi-class format keeps you on your toes for near enough the whole 75 minutes. :thumb:

Sounds very mature and refreshingly nice that it works so well.

IGTC keeps you on your toes for 240 minutes :D and has raised the bar in terms of real-world race recreation via LFS. Safety cars, safety crews, and an excellent admin staff led through a very rigourous season featuring some of LFS' toughest courses.

Everything the guys above have said about the GFC is spot-on. It really is a great league and I cannot wait until the start of Season 2.:thumb:

Grats to the Gentlefoot challenge.
A fantastic, well run league. A huge amount of effort was put in by the man himself.
A very worthy winner:) Best of luck for season 2.
