:thumbsup:

(Please note that I did not personally select the nominees for each category. There was a nomination period (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=34740) in which anyone could submit nominations. With a few exceptions, the nominees in these polls were those who received more than one nomination each in the given category. For a full explanation of the process used to select the nominees, look here (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=35285).)

===========================

Honorable Mentions (all with one nomination each):

Becky Rose

Funny, I always thought I just ranted at people/took the piss out of Sam. :shrug:

Karl is the real hero here, IMO.

I'm shocked that someone nominated me, thanks though :)

That bad tempered halo-wearing chap gets my vote.

ill vote for jack on this one since hes the one guy who always answers the hardware question id otherwise feel obliged to help on
so even if he isnt all that helpful in the great scheme of things (in fact hes probably rather useless for many important areas in life like opening beer bottles without an opener) hes a real time saver for me

oh geez this one is hard. I wish I could have voted for 3 guys at least! BBT sam & bob for me. If the nominations were later I would have picked axus for his awesome clutch pack help.

I'll go for Android there, always lurking around (from work?) to share his knowledge.
Just check his implication during the testpatch seasons!

Other reasons:
I Won't vote for mods as it's their duty to help us around :),
I am useless at programming (my long gone attempts belong to forgotten computing middle ages, and my recent achievements are freelance poorly written under documented visual basic applications for M$ spreadsheets) so no angry Angel can help me here,
I don't overclock nor plan overclocking my (well technically my employer's) laptop nor my grandmother's kettle, so Jakg can not help me there,
and BBT might help around but he's so down in the poll that I can not save him ;).

/OT I think the overall community deserves an special award there, for all the help and good time found on the forums. Thanks all!

I'm just as useless as you at this so he can't help ME either but I don't think that's the point.

If you compare the helpful posts/total posts ratio he would certainly win IMO.

:weeping:

Nobody loves me!

J/K:D,

It was an honer to be nominated, thanks whoever nominated me and voted and whatnot, that's cool!

Hm, Bob winning so many polls? And Bob's a mod... Coincidence? I think not... I think the hand of mod has been up to some other "modding" :D

I come like a bus. Not for ages, then three times all at once. Just ask the missus...

Many member have done a marvelous job of helping others. I would like to thank in particular The Angry Angel for the many people he has helped with networking, routing and connectivity problems as well as his support in the programming forum.

Well done Karl. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

My vote goes towards Ball Bearing Turbo. He's a helpful Canadian with a great personality, very friendly and welcoming. BBT, if your reading this, keep up the great work :p

Jakg, you would have been my pick, you put up with a LOT of n00bs over in the Computer System section, but you just don't give the same vibe I get from Jeff.
