I cannot login anymore on my own server

I cannot login anymore on my own server.
Server is visible in LFSWorld, but when I click the link (join2lfs) I get no connection "connection failed"

When I start up LFS, my sever is not visible in the serverlist, (strange ??)

My server has allways worked until today, I've allready restarted my PC, router reset, I've try'd X10, x30, demo, all the same problem...

Who can help me ?

Take a look at the section in the following thread on port forwarding and firewalls.

If you're using a router I'd guess that either your port forwarding isn't setup or is pointing at the wrong LAN ip. Or a firewall on the computer running the server is preventing data from going in and out of LFS.

You can tell me that it's not the router, but have you actually checked to see that the forwarding is going to the right address?

Say for instance that you didn't give your PC a static, you may have gotten a different IP as the lease time expired whilst your PC was off, or the lease expired on your PC whilst the router was off, you got a new network card, someone deconfigured it, you used a reservation on MAC address and cloned a different one, etc. There are a billion and one reasons why the port forwarding might not be correct.

Things don't magically stop working or deconfigured themselves, something has to have changed.

Edit: Oh how convenient, your post has disappeared. That'll make me look like a cock, won't it. Lovely.

Edit 2: You don't need to forward 29339 in to your network. That was a "fix" for older routers doing things incorrectly.

Are you sure that .100 is your "server"'s LAN ip?

It's not the firewall, even when I disabled it I can't connect to my server, and it's not the router, the ports are open, I have this server for a couple of months and it has allways worked corrct until today

It was my IP adress.:schwitz:
It was changed from xxx.xxx.x.100 to xxx.xxx.x.101 :shy:

I didn't expect that this was changed, now I can login to my server again..
