what is the problem

Can you please post us your system specs? Would make solving this problem much easier. Looks like display adapter's fault to me. Upgrading drivers might help. Can't be sure though :)

Yup, Mauni is right, post complete spec of your PC. This problem occurs when LFS is running on GF2 graphics, so if you have one and wanna race, you probably have to do an upgrade.... :(

But before you will do anything bigger, be sure you haven't got overclocked(overheated) graphic card and try to set some lower graphic options. Enabling Half texture size and Disabling Haze effect can help in some cases.

Your not S2 licensed, how you get it?

Looks like a driver problem, try updating your cards driver, or maybe updating your DirectX.

If he's somehow unlocked the cars on a demo licence (hacked), maybe the car models etc are still locked, so they don't display?

I dunno, but I thought all demo cars had rear seats?
