I was just wondering what will happen with the new patch in RSWC, because changing to another patch during a championship is going to be somewhat strange, will the admin panel for RSWC run the new patch through and acsess if anything in the championship needs to be changed?

Provided InSim is the same nothing will change. From what i know, InSim will be the same. Besides i dont think RSWC uses InSim.

I think everyone will just have to adjust to the new stuff like the tracks and minor physics changes, rather than anything MAJOR. I just wanted to know if Dan and co will keep in mind things might need to change in order to keep things fair, but we can only find out once we try the patch, the fact that the very track we are practicing for is one that is set to change, is well, different, if the patch comes out a few days before, it should be ok, but if the patch comes out the day before the race, my suggestion, is that dan post on here that everyone is to remain on the old version until the race is finnished, that way he can run the server on the X patch, we can race the race just like we have been practicing for, and continue the rest of the season with the new patch.

Aslong is the new patch isn't a test patch, we will run it.

So, to summarize, RSWC will use the latest RELEASE patch, NOT the latest TEST PATCH.

As for any physics/track changes causes issues, they could, and might do, but everybody will be in the some boat, and I can see no decent reason not to use the latest patch.
