Hi, i just bought the mighty DFP wheel! :)
I have downloaded latest 5.01 version of Logitech Gaming Software and the installation went clean and smooth, BUT after launching the Profiler i get the error message saying that "Logitech Profiler was unable to detect... etc" The problem is... that the wheel is pluged in! It even works with LFS in 200 deg. mode, but i can't change anything i the settings basically... Any ideas about it?

did you plug the wheel in when it said you should? if you do it before something goes wrong (at least it did for me)
if not just deinstall and try it again when the installer asks for you to plug it in
edit: also be sure you change the degree mode in the profiler options

I am sure i did everything right. I have pluged the wheel when the wizzard asked me to. And i can't change the profiler options, because the profiler doesn't even launch...

One more hint... In the game controllers window, when i acces the settings of the wheel i can mark, or unmark all options and move the bars, but there is no way to save any changes. Is this normal? I only have Defaults adn Close buttons in settings menu.

I had the same problem too, solved by rebooting the system.

I also had the same issue. What I did was the first time when I was installing the drivers I did not plug in the wheel until the setup said that "make sure everything is plugged in .... " and after the install I got the error. Then I just uninstalled the drivers plugged in my wheel did a reboot and installed the drivers again and it worked fine.
