What exactly was the problem? And you really think that LFS has like hundred support persons watching the forum 24/7?

No, common sense would be: asking the question at night, then waiting 10 minutes before complaining that the support is crap and trying to get help by saying you wont buy the game because of it.

Hi guys.. I am also experiencing the same problem when I run a dedicated server.. I was going to make a new thread, but since this one already exists I thought I better not!

I have tryed different ports... I have tryed deleting all *.txt files, starting from fresh etc.. But my ded server is still not working!

Here is my config, if that helps..... NOTE that I am behind a router (ADSL), and have forwarded the required ports, however I dont think port forwarding is the problem!

//Example dedicated host configuration file.
//How to use : LFS /cfg=setup.cfg

//FIRST IN LIST
/host=^1www.drft.co.nr

//if required - password
//pass=password

//if required - admin password
/admin=******

//if required - InSim port
//insim=29999

//if required - local specified ip address
/ip=203.122.97.64

//a high number below 65536
/port=63392

Do you have any firewalls, or other security services running local to your server that would "steal" ports?

Edit: try without the ip address.

after u change the setup.cfg try deleting the cfg.txt file and restart the server... worked for me. (i had tcp socket: error so that worked for me)
