can i get extra power?

I fellas I only have the s1 licence and i was woundering can i make any of the cars have bigger turbos and more power ??
or do i have to buy the S2 licence
i have just seen some you tube videos of turbo v8 cars just doing burnouts for the whole straight?

Simple answer, no.

Complex answer, yes, but only offline, and only with the 3 demo cars using the program LFSTweak, and I am fairly sure LFSTweak now requires a full S2 license.

rito so for a person like me thats new to LFS
its basically impossible
i dont mind upgrading to S2
and yer im not interested to race with it
just have a muck around offline

It's by no means impossible, but its nothing like Forza or GT, where you install parts, you just use LFStweak to change the engine settings etc etc.

Do a search on LFStweak and have a look at it.

TBH, I can't remember, it's been a while since I fiddled with it, there must be some documentation for it somewhere.

To use Tweak you'll need V version of LFS and afaik, Tweak needs licence, but doesn't specify which one, so S1 might work. You basicly just put LFSTweak into LFS folder and start it, then start LFS(or vice versa, don't remember exactly). After that you can alter settings of the 3 demo cars in the Tweak's window.
