sad :( i heard about it this morning on the radio .. surprised.. he died at only 73

i thought he was alot older than that with the first karate kid came out.. when was that.. like '94 or so? .. thought he was 70 or so when that came out lol

Ya he had a lot sucess during his actor career with movies like karate kid.. but ya he seemed older in that time... :(

Uhhh I thought his name was Pat Morita...
Oh well, the movie DID come out in '84....My girlfriend at the time made me
go see it. And I guess since the "karate Kid" didn't get whacked on snow or put in prison like the other 80's child stars, we won't have to worry about seeing him attempting a desperate comeback on a reality show :)

Awwww... and to think my little cousin who loves Miyagi in Karate Kid movies... man he is someone I always remembered in my childhood too. Sad to hear all this.
