View Full Version : what happened to my settings?

ok, so i go to play some lfs and i was playing earlier today and everything was fine. i have a microsoft sidewinder ffb. well i go to play again today and the wheel is super super sensitive, like 3 teeth makes the game go to full lock. the wheel still works fine in other games and the settings are still the same in lfs. any ideas?

Look at your settings;

when I left the tab 'controler' on after clicking escape, it tends to **** my settings up. Just click on 'audio' or 'game' tabs, your wheel shouldn't loose his settings again.

Did you try turning the wheel lock-to-lock to "calibrate" it? I know that sounds obvious, but this has happened to me with my G25 on occasion. If the PC gets confused when you plug it in, sometimes the calibration gets reset. All you have to do is move the axis to their min and max values. I'm sure you'd have tried that though...

Might be able to give a better explanation tonight, when I get home. Was kind of sleeping on my keyboard when I worte that thing upper.. :scratchch
