From the screenshots it looks like the motion blur "hack" is a pretty spiffy addon. By the devs own admission its buggy, buggy like how? I was wondering if anyone here uses it and if they've run into any problems with it?

i used it once, and the only problem i had with it, is when you go into either hte pits, or change the track, (might have just been when you change track, cant remember) the screen would start flashing red and normal.. red.. normal, etc and lfs would lock up

ALT+TAB into windows an back when that happens and you're fine...
It's nice for Screenies, but that's about it.

yes, i used it sometimes.. it's nice, though you'll have to pay a lot of performance for it and for driving it's not very helpfull.
but as far as i used it i had no problems with bugs, but the only "problem" was that all interface graphics have been blured, too. but thats because an external program has not the ability to differ between on-screen displays and ingame graphic.

It looks really nice on screenshots, but while racing it made me kinda motion-sick :faint:

so Motion Blur in Photoshop filters will do for me? I guess it can be nice to have with capturing movies although I think something like Adobe After Effects will do... I just don't think the current way motion blur is uses in racegames is how it should be. In DTM RaceDriver :x it was also making me sick; it's too much.

It's nicer to have the Motion Blur ingame, cause in Photoshop it's al lot of work

i would use with a better graphic card *FX5200*
but i like it very much und would use it on low blurr options, because it looks much smoother and better.

But, don't you have to be going more than 320kmh or so before your vision is blurred?

This so calles tunnel effect is already noticable at 220 km/h+ (140 mph+)

You get used to speed. If you regularly do 200mph, 140 will not give you tunnel vision. If you regularly do 250mph (as if) you'll find it won't be that blurry (but I've never gone that fast at less than 1000ft so I can't vouch for that one)

I don't actually think your vision will ever become blurred in broad daylight.

If i may say so, it depends on the road surroundings. If, while driving, you notice that your vision becomes blurred, u r going to fast!!!!111

Q) Does anyone use the motion blur mod regularly?
A) I try not to not drink while driving ;)
