LFS Patch 0.5Q Question!

I wanted to try out the LFSTweak on Patch Q but for some reason I can't hear any sounds. I downloaded LFS 0.5Q and LFSTweak S2 Lite for 0.5Q. They both work fine but I can't hear the engine, or tyres etc.

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate.

Could this be the reason?

If there are any fixes for this issue, a link would be great.

Why not use tweak for patch V?

check your speaker cables for a secure connection and check other programs that make sounds... If your other games don't have sound, its not LFS's problem, also check your taskbar to make sure LFS is enabled

Sound didn't work correctly in Vista until patch W, I think. Previous patches has several issues in Vista.

Patch Q doesn't support sounds under Vista. Support for this was added in a later patch. So you're shit outta luck.

I've got all of the files for Patch V, but I am waiting until Friday until I get another Unlock :( I just wanted to see exactly what the Tweak does. I'll just wait :D

WHY did they take it out for Patch V?!
