If you mean the ads (which I don't see, thanks to Adblock), the ad-company simply uses your IP to determine where you are from.

Funny thing is, those pictures and usernames are fake. Ive been on that site so many times to notice they use the same username more than once, and its been different pictures. Also, sometimes when loading the page, youll see one picture on their, and then the picture will change to another :D
