Cannot login to _ADMIN_ at ALL

I have been trying to days and days..... and frankly i've had it up to ^^ HERE^^ with this.

I cannot for the life for me login to admin !

No matter what I try, no matter how much I swear, no matter how much physical abuse the computer gets, I cannot login.

In the config file i've set it to for example: /admin=12345678

I try login with /admin=12345678

No workies.. ok, that's fine.. [you do not have permission]

I try login with /admin 12345678

not again.. [you do not have permission]

I try /admin=passsword 12345678

nope, shame on you, you can't not get fooled twice. [you do not have permission]

Please help me guys STEP by STEP in laymans terms, don't just say ... huh, do this, than that.. just explain to me in every detail, i'm really tired and if this keeps up i'm going to be emo in the forseeable future.

it's a simple process indeed, because it is just one step you will have to follow.

Instead of trying to login with /admin=whateveradminpasswordyouset when you are already on the server (this won't work), you have to put your admin password in the little box below the server name in the "Join a Server" screen. This box is labelled "Server password" or just "Password" I think. There you go.

I did try it at first but kept sayin server doesn't not have a pw set (I thought, well duh.. it's public server) - wouldn't let me join at first
