does LFS have to save them as .BMPs? they are 6.5MB each and then I have to convert them to jpeg. its just a nusence. I tried fraps but every time I press the Q key (screen capture key) it takes a screenie and then I have a million screenies of that letter.

It's cool :D

Its a new-ish feature, so it understandable...

Edit: The attatchments thing always blows up when I tried to host a .bmp screenie. It should be an in game option. Save Shots In: JPG - BMP.

You can also use FRAPS and asign a key used to take screenshots, I find it easy to use.

Downlad FSScreen (http://www.simradar.com/File/2791/FSScreen_Version_1_1.html), unzip it anywhere you want and run it in the background while playing LfS... Just hit "Print Screen" on your keyboard and it saves the image as .jpg to the folder you unzipped the program... :)

FSScreen unfortunately also saves BMPs, not JPEGs.

I could've sworn it saved .jpgs the last time I used it... Oh well, guess it's another tool then...

lol... simplest way of taking a screen shot of anything, is just hit PrintScreen key. The image is then copies to clipboard. So load paint, reduce white image to small, and hit paste. Then you can clip it, resize it, and save it where you want.

Or paste it into Photoshop and save it as jpeg.
