Hi all! I've recently got a G25 and LUUVIN it :). Got back into good 'ole Richard Burns Rally and after a few days, got the RSRBR Mod which is one of the best mods I've ever seen :). Anyway, I was interested to know, is it possible to do some sort of simple conversion or maybe a USB to Xbox port converter (pretty basic stuff like stick the USB cable in one end and the other into the Xbox). I don't really care much if I don't get some force feedback. I just would like to try Forza with it :).

The 360 should have a couple of usb ports.

Xbox doesn't support other than the official Xbox wheels so it's not, unfortunately, possible.

idk, some guys out there on the forza 2 forums trying to make an adapter for it that registers the g25s input and converts into an xbox code. Doesnt sound hard but it hasnt happened

Yeah the G25 can work fine connecting to the Xbox, and auto-calibrate to 270 degree mode (what someone told me)... however there are no games that recognize the G25 as a proper wheel controller. Before Forza 2 was out, there were talks that the developers would give G25 support... however, according to market research (and this is nearly what they said in a statement), racing games are so low in sales, racing peripherals for console games are the least of any developer's worries, and therefore give limited support to such devices in their games. It would require a lot of extra testing and time invested to support all kinds of USB wheels, so I take it that only general and generic wheels will work with the Xbox 360.

I'd like to use a good wheel with the 360, but it seems it is never going to happen officially. Hopefully some kind of adapter can be made or something... Because this is the one thing that prevents me from buying a 360, I don't want to purchase a 2nd wheel that is a piece of crap.

I too was looking around on the internet when I bought my G25 to see if it was possible.

Couldnt find anything but I will live in hope that an adaptor will be made for xbox and xbxo 360.

Forza 2 + G25 = Awesome.

It'll be 10x more fun to play, well, not for the kiddies of course.

Ill tell you another thing, dont ever expect a clutch on forza, just like GT4, its not supported in the game. Also the H shifter is highly unlikely. What happens is that even though it has an USB port, the 360 does not have a driver for it. No adapters will be sold either, this would be called copyright infridgement.:( If someone made it then it would be for them, it be illegal to sell it.
