May be make and add 10 or 15 new cars in LFS S2!!!
How "you" think! This wil be Cool, isn't it?
That cars from S1 and S2 is very tired!
And one more idea!
The players of LFS will do projects that cars what they want to see in the game, and creators of this most inerested game will chose bestest projects and add in the game!!!
If you have ideas to do this game bester write in this thread!!!
I'm from Estonia! Sorry. if some body didn't understand what I had writen here...

Heh, if you are tired of the cars in LFS already you must be playing too much. But you only have a demo license? :scratchch
IMO more cars at this point would be a bad thing, it's hard enough to find anybody driving the cars I like online as it is.

Yes I'm sure we'd all like to see this, and Scawen has expressed that he would like to see LFS publically modded, but not until a much later stage. Designing a "realistic", good looking, and competative vehicle is tricky, so I'm not sure we should let the community loose with things like that just yet, especially since the Dev's are very busy atm.
P.S. perhaps a mod could move this to improvement suggestions?

Look at rFactor if you want to see why I hope modding doesn't happen to LFS. Unless the LFS devs can find a solution to the online mayhem that rF has then theres no hope for good online racing without mismatches.

yeah, i gotta agree, i don't really see the LFS cars simply as cars, they really are different formulas, each one with a slightly different character. introduce too many and you dilute the gameplay.
it would be cool (don't flame me i'm NOT a ricer) to have maybe the option of a couple of different bodies (manufacturers) for each car just to add a little flavour to a grid full of identical cars. although it IS completely piontless from a racing point of view:nod: and not something i think is at all nescesarry, it would keep the kiddies happy, (don't let 'em play with the models themselves tho', urgh bodykits everywhere:pillepall)
BTW after waiting, and waiting and wqaiting for rFactor, i can't actually remember why it's s'posed to be so good, there isn't a SINGLE thing they do better than LFS, I was as unbiased as i could be but i just can't help thinking it's got the wrong end of the race-sim stick

10 - 15 more cars in S2? As was mentioned, sometimes it's hard to find people who are racing the cars you like anyway. For example I just started enjoying the LX cars (didn't like the S1 LXs - very hard to control) and it's not often you find a server with people racing them. I think the same may apply to the MRT5 as I never see people racing those.
zeka, if you bought an S2 license you could drive all the S2 cars, and maybe you'd be more satisfied :)

More cars of the same classes. Ie, in GTR class, we have RWD turbo, AWD Turbo, and rear engine RWD. No FWD at all, and no V8 power (ie low rpm/power, high torque, mustang/camaro hybrid). The FXO should have been left FWD for GTR class and the RB4 made into an AWD GTR. The XF/XFR cars need another closer car to race with than the UF1/UFR. I just wish we had several more variations to pick from in each class, but I'm not picky and am quite happy at the moment with what we do have.

You think a 500 horse FWD would be competitive?

I think adding some 1970 era American Muscle cars akin to the Gran Torino or GTOs would be a hell of a lot of fun. Gotta get the V8 sound right, though.
