Giday Eh!

Just wondering how many Canadians race on a regular basis and if we could get together for some good racing with nice low ping?I have played on a couple of Canadian servers and had lots of fun but can't always find them.

Im from canada. But don't know of any canadian servers.
Maybe you could make a league for north americans only....or even international but with a north american time?

League Of The Americas - servers in Texas...we have 43 Canadians already registered, about 50% are active in leagues. Races at 9:30 PM EST. Thursday Night Thunder tonight....sprint race at combos voted on by members.

Is the server named LOTA? I don't think I've seen it before. Texas is on Central time right?

oh man...race with them core or lota guys and all you'll see is their rear bumpers...but a damn good bunch of guys none the less :thumb:

I've been running the IGTC races and my server is usually set to follow their sched...I think it's offline ATM but it's usually on 24/7

All of our racing happens on LOTA League Server 1, and also on LOTA League Server 2 if a series has enough drivers, like our current Grand Touring Cup.

And Banshee does not only see my rear bumper on the track, but also on the forums!

Oh no you don't... You just don't have the time... repeat after me..:really::)

I don't want to be one more position down on the grid. It is bad enough now.

Plus, if Banshee ever does get behind me, I get punted sooner or later.:D:razz:

You also might want to check out the CHOPS guys too. The host Sunday fun races and are a good team.

Regular LFS racer and I'm currently competing in the LOTA Grand Touring Cup.

Starting on the 15th though I am competing in the FinalGear weekly races which has drivers from all over the world. Good guys but freaking fast, just like the damn Core drivers .

The way to beat a Core driver is to let them make a mistake while you have a consistent race.

Todd, there are sure to be some racers on the LOTA servers tonight. We just came out of an off week in the schedule, and our next race is Thursday. I'm certain there will be people getting some final prep work in tonight and tomorrow!

:smileypulWell you've called us. Now what?! Organize hosting and times and lets get this show on the road.

At no time did I state that I was looking at adding more scheduling time to my already overloaded calendar!! I was looking for a place to race with low ping and people in my own time zone. One day when my kids are grown and my wife has left me for a younger man, I might have the time! But for now I will leave it for others.:)

SimRacing.ca JOIN THE ADMINISTRATION TEAM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SimRacing.ca provides a dedicated server to the LFS community at large. Our administrators look after setting the tracks, qualify & race sessions as they require for practice / race events.

We are trying out a new concept in dedicated server administration, free admin rights! Administrators will have free reign of our server, the idea is that team / league organizers can have access to extra practice / event time provided it won’t conflict with previous admin’s usage schedule. (If there’s enough interest you may have to book it but for now it’s pretty much available.)

By the way, we don’t expect you to tag your name ( [sr.ca]name...unless ya really want to :) )

So, interested in joining our administration team?

It’s really not hard, just drop us an email at: admin@simracing.ca with your: LFS Name, LFS NickName, Nationality & Time Zone.

Just one last thing: By submitting the above form, I understand and agree that as a SimRacing.ca administrator I will be held accountable to the highest standards of racing etiquette. (We are based in Canada after all.)

I further understand that my standing as an administrator may be revoked at any time if I'm found to be an asshole.

I've lived in Winterpeg, <brrr>; have been carried away by mosquitoes...not that there were lots,,, they were just big! I called Esterhazy home for a while... and if you're not from Saskabush, you won't know where I mean... born in Cowtown, spent 6 years in Red Deer (just doesn't have a good nick name...lol) ,,,, lived like a good Hunky in Yadmunchuck before moving to the HOT place... B.C. interior... Rutland to be specific, but I now call the Wet Coast home and have been living in North Delhi for the past couple of decades.:tilt:

We also have quite possible the greatest % of Canadian LFS'ers. What happened to Michael Denham thinking about doing a West-Coast LFS Lan Meeting?
