Is LFS dying or are there people in the corner waiting for S3. Because the S2 servers are dying and then the s1 servers is dead but then I think everyones in the demo servers including S2 licensed. In B4 some crappy/awesome comments

I don't think LFS is dying (quite the controrary, but that's a subjectiv impression).
Things may become a little bit slow between major patches, but that effect was always there and perfectly normal.
And it also depends when you are online, I see you're american, maybe on the hours where you are online things may be a little quiet.

Yes, I think the main problem is the timezone really. Allthough I have to say that when I am online there aren't more then lets say 30 servers online what more then 1 people on it, but I usually never have a big problem finding a server.

It's the complete opposite: It's growing every day. Just look HERE (http://www.lfsworld.net/?win=hosts&whichTab=licensed_history&t=182&abc=10) to see that the number of online players grows and grows (slow, but consistent).

So what? I prolly got more people to play LFS in that time, then you have won races... And yes, I've been online more often, then you could see on lfsw. Better get more information about people, before you accuse them of something...
Edit: LOL, and I'm discussing with someone who has done 13000kms only...

If LFS was dying, we wouldnt get "race is full" on servers

:tilt: I'm sure you have, I was only jesting :p and didn't mean anything nasty.
I got you to go online just now though, so I must have hit a nerve :D
I've been real sick these last few days, just tried to go online as well but felt motion sick atfer two attempts :schwitz:

I've done much more than 13,000km also, so I could say the same  I wasn't accussing you of anything, it was just a friendly jest :) didn't you see the hidden text :scratchch
And no I don't think LFS is dying, it is still going strong :) with redline, conedodgers and ctra just to name a few there is plenty of examples of a thriving community.

LFS is still growing, it's just that most of the new people piss about in "cruise" servers instead of learning to race.

It can be difficult to find a race, late last night (4am ish - would be evening in the US) the only servers with more than 3 people in were either drift, cruise or CTRA. So the only 2 racing servers both require licenses to make the most of. Hardly ideal for the casual racer.

<shameless plug>
Last night in particular was league night for LOTA (League of the Americas) www.lfs-lota.net (http://www.lfs-lota.net). There were ~35 racers on 2 servers - GTRs at FE4R - scary! :schwitz:
It's a very well run league and has gotten more popular recently, with drivers from Columbia, Mexico, Canada, and the US. There's also a Monday night MRT league.

I agree that it's tough to find pickup races during evenings in the US. Usually if you join CTRA race 1 or bump and jump, you'll attract a small crowd within a few minutes.

i think you connect late to play lfs, around 9 pm? (-5 GMT?) or something like that? cuz in the afternoon here in Mexico (-5 GMT) the servers are at its maximum

Aye, LFS is rather empty lately, but I highly doubt it's dying.

for YOU it may be, but it isn't for those in the euro timezones, IMO, LFS is as populated in the euro timezone as it's ever been.
Maybe the people in timezones with lesser coverage need to organise some leagues/events?

I would expect the servers to be less crowded now that school has started for quite a few players.

timezones are the big issue. I f i go on LFS 5 hours earlyer (about noon pacific standard time) there are at least occupided60 hosts. at 7PM pacific standard time there are less that occupided 20 hosts. most people also say its times like 3AM too.
