View Full Version : DFP problem...... gear change

I have a DFP and use the little button/levers at the back of the wheel to change gears up and down.

The one on the right for some reason has just started to go funny. When I click to go up a gear, suddenly it will jump either 2 gears, 3 or 4 in one go....

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, are there any ways to fix the issue>?

thanks, Andy

Increase the gearshift debounce value in the LFS options :)

How not? The system prevents gearshifts that happen faster than the specified value, which are usually the double or triple shifts wheel paddles make when they get old.

If it doesn't work, you could try cleaning the button contacts, though you need a bit of technical skill to disassemble the wheel. Or the obvious solution; get a G25

if I use say 150 ms then it still does it somehow but doesnt allow for quick downshifting.....

I might try to buy a new solonoid thing or I am buggared :(
