I don't have S2 so I don't really know exactly what the autocross area looks like, so bear with me. I think it'd be cool and pretty handy to have a sort of meter in-game that measures your braking distance. In real life, you "professionally" measure straight-line braking distance on a drag strip (or at least that's what you see on TV haha), so maybe it could be integrated into the drag strip already in the game. Maybe it could be activated via a certain keystroke, button, etc.

This would help somewhat with people making setups as well, at least with the braking portion of the set. It would help you optimize your braking for certain tracks while keeping the distance low, test braking power at speed, etc.

All you need is a speedometer and a chronometer--in fact, the forces view is a good indicator of how close you are to locking up at any given moment.

Anyway, after a few laps it shouldn't be hard to tell if your braking is better or worse from any particular adjustment. So, IMO, leave it in the hands of the driver; why have a computer do it for you?

As wark says, forces view is ideal for this. If you do want to go down the computer route, this (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=16961) should help.
