Huge Problem

Ok so i downloaded LFS s2 demo so i can try it out right... but when i went to run it i got a window that said said "The D3D8.dll is linked to missing export DDAW.DLL:DdEntry12."

I have no freakin idea what's goin on!!!

Somone please help me i want to try this game

Did you unzip the zip file? Did you retain the directory structure? If you didn't then do it. If you did, then perhaps we need a bit more 'What I did' info.

That sounds like a DirectX Error... you do have an upto date version of DirectX and all drivers on your system correct?

Yeah man, try to run dxdiag (Start->Run-> type "dxdiag"). On card DirectX files(or how the hell it's named in English - it's the second one) you'll get diagnostics of all the files that DX uses. It there'll be any problem, try to upgrade on latest DX version (DirectX9.0c = 4.09.0000.0904) on http://www.microsoft.com/directx . And let us know what version of DX do you have.
If you have recent DX version and any file is corrupted, try to boot your system in Safe Mode and copy the file I attached over the old one - it should help.
(I presume that DDRAW.DLL file is corrupted)

BTW: LFS needs DirectX 8.1 to run correctly, if you have any older version LFS CANNOT work.
