1. A 'true' wide-screen effect for 4:3 displays.
Sure everything will get a bit smaller, but the extra fov is more than worth it.
2. Make temperory setup changes behave like ISI sims, ie. they never get saved unless you hit the 'Save' button.
Saves a LOT of trouble backing up setups just to try simple changes before each race.
3. The F9, F10 displays hide the position list.
Surely it can't be a big deal for them to be able to co-exist?

1. LFS supports widescreen resolutions?
2. NO, that's a really really annoying thing about other sims.
3. You don't want too much info on screen.

Regarding point 1, you just have to put the FOV up manually to compensate.

But why cant someone decide that for himself?
It's been bothering me too. I hardly ever look at the rev counter and speed when I drove a certain map a few times. I do look at my temperatures a lot.
Why cant someone prefer the temperatures over the rev counter/speedometer?
That's a non-argument ;)

ajp71, being kind of close minded, arn't we?
I like the idea of #2...
I can't count how many times I have been tweaking setups and forgot what I had something set to before I started messing with it, then I end up foobaring the setup...or if my buddy gets on my PC and starts making weird setups so he can just mess around and he ends up changing all my stuff...if there was a save button it would solve that issue...

"Are you sure you want to exit the setup menu without saving?"
Terrible suggestion...

But if you like to develop your sets you'll soon find how annoying it is when you make small changes and forget to save them, as it is in other sims. I also find the whole track folders system doesn't work either because in reality one set is good for multiple tracks.
IMO LFS has got the sets pretty much sorted, could do with an option to place notes with a set, limit the range and steps of settings to more realistic increments and make the live settings permanent, this one really annoys me as atm you set the brake bias and ARBs correctly then come back and have to reset them if you forget to change them in the setup after the race.

1. Doesn't affect me, I have a 16:10 display...
2. You can always back up your setup before working on it, or make only 1 change at a time...
3. I'm all for this, in fact I suggested it a while back in a test patch thread...
