After our fusion, the fusion of 3 Teams : =[ZG]=Racing Teams, des Menden-Motors-Team and the low R1ders to RACING MINDS, we decided to organise a 16 hours Race Event on the Aston Historic Track. The event will take place on October 13th and 14th 2007. The Race will start at 16 o’clock. Everybody can announce his participation in our forum in the thread: “Anmeldung”.
You can choose between four classes: The GTR Class (FZR, XRR and FXR), the NGT Class (XFR and UFR), the TBO Class (RB4, FXO and the XRT) and the LRF Class (LX6, FZ50 and the RAC).
Every Class is limited to 15 Cars. After the Qualifying it will be evaluated who will drive on which of the two servers. The first half of every class will drive on server #1 and the second half on server #2.

it would be a bit difficult to watch over 3 different forums in which the teams could announce their participation.
sry for that, but everybody has got to do that and as this is our first event like this we try to think of a better way to do this.

Hi,
can you please tell me what does this mean?
Wer mit Fünf oder mehr Fahrern an den Start gehen möchte, nimmt nicht an der offiziellen Wertung teil.
Thanks

Teams with more than 4 drivers is not listed in the overall results.
So they can participate, but drive just for fun.

It's so sh..ty that you can't dissalow vote for restart. I was trying set and after almost 40 minutes of driving or so was "race" restarted by some mor.... :banghead:
commandermas
19th July 2007, 18:21
eh... vote shouldn't be allowed on that servers, thx for info i'll change the settings
Kdovi

Really? I think that only disallowing vote for kick/ban and change track is possible :scratchch

Bad thing about it, it only goes up to 200 seconds or so.
oh yeah, tried yesterday... then there isn't a way to solve this problem, one could just remember them that its just training and that restart doesn't change anything...
Plus, I cant understand a thing on the sign-up forum, its all in German :/
sry for that, we have got problems with the english version, just write to me in ICQ or MSN and i'll help

Server Default page
If you see this page it means:
1. hosting for this domain is not configured
or
2. there's no such domain registered in Plesk
What you can do:
Using Plesk, you can create domains with web hosting on a single physical server.
hm....any official comments on this?? is the event still going to take place?

Im sure it will, the practice servers are still up as far as I know, and the teams list is getting updated regularly.

i don't know when the site will be online again but i hope in the next few days.

because the 16 hours is about the feeling of different classes in one Race, like the 24 hours races
commandermas
7th October 2007, 13:47
Well i don't really think that it will become a big problem, because at the 24 hours Race i drove an FXR myself and had some big Problems at the beginning, but after a few laps it became better and i think that everyone who drives a fast car, can drive at least so good, that he can overtake fast cars, so i don't think that they will have got problems.
speedway
7th October 2007, 14:25
i think that everyone who drives a fast car, can drive at least so good, that he can overtake fast cars
...i see the problems in drivers trying to overtake/pass a slow car
i can only appeal to all gtr drivers to remember that ngt's, tbo's and lx's are not only much slower but also have different braking points, maybe different lines through corners, might need to brake midcorner where gtrs could go flatout or go much wider on corner exit (so think twice before trying to pass on the outside)
im also afraid that there will be some major accidents because on or the other "fast" driver considers the slower cars just as moving obsticales and tries to get past them as fast as possible not caring for the slower one at all ...and then wonders why the slower car turns in and heads for the apex
...during the next 5secs spinning around you might want to consider if it wasnt better if you stayed behind the slow car during the corner and just easily pass him on the next straight
(note: same goes for ngt's trying to pass tbo's  )
different subject...would it be possible to reduce or even completely remove those insim messages...i'd probably go insane if i get told every lap that my split was good :D
anyway...i also wanna wish everyone good luck :)

My compliments to the 16hrace organisation so far. :thumb:
Looking forward for this event I have some questions and suggestions.
a)
Post 1 in this thread:
"Every Class is limited to 15 Cars".
The qualifying is over and here:
http://www.racing-minds.net/racingminds/16h/quali.html
There are 20 GTR cars.
Here:
http://16h.racing-minds.net/index.htm
I actually can see 26 GTR cars for the race.
Mayby you might want to offer the last participation announcing GTR teams to change to the LFR class in order to get some more competitors inthere. Right now there are only 2 LFR teams making it a kind of boring as already stated in this thread.
b)
In my oppinion it doesn´t matter if a team joins your race with 3,4,5 or 6 drivers. They all should get included in the official results after race finish as it wouldn´t favourise any team but save some teams managers some headache...
c)
I propose you open a 16hours confirmation thread for the teams now. Only 35 teams out of 46have done their qualifying. In case there would be only 32 teams you had a chance to hold this event on 1 server only. A 16 hours race with 32 cars on track would be great racing..
Keep up your good work.

Yes, good observation. If anybody would like to know how he is doing, there is a great client site addon by Gai-Luron called LFSRelax (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=27913). So there is no need for LFS Lapper(spammer) :)

some good things@R.Kolz
a)
first, we thought just about 2 servers at the beginning, and as we saw good announcements for GTR Class we changed to 3 servers and we got not as much announcements for LRF TBO and NGT Class as we hoped.
b)
we thought about that before and a four driver Team is good , 6 drivers Teams have got advantages. there even would be an official Result with these teams, but no team wanted to drive like this.
c)
we had something like a comfirmation, because we wanted to have all skins, and i think we have got the most skins.

i'm moving this thread back into the leagues section and removing this forum section. There is no need to have a whole section for just one thread.
