I always thought about adding a real driving wheel to the DFP, so today I disassembled the thing to find out how to remove the wheel. Only after opening the entire case I found out that to remove the wheel you dont have to touch anything else :D
Here's how to do it:
-remove the GT badge, it's only glued (the little screws do nothing)
-remove the 4 big screws
-pull and disconnect the plug
Done! :thumb:

Now, anyone has ideas on how to put a wheel here?
Anyone willing to try? :D

To add a proper wheel, i think you would have to either create a bracket which slots into the wheel base, just like the DFP wheel does...Or:

Buy a FREX kit. I'd go for this:

With one of these:

Or if you like the DYI thing you can try something like this :) http://home.comcast.net/~seekeating/r/WheelReplace/ (http://home.comcast.net/%7Eseekeating/r/WheelReplace/)
