Soundproblem ! I can´t hear the wind and the wheels screaming !

Hello,

since today i have a big problem with LFS ... i can hear the engine sound - but the sound of the screaming wheels or the wind at higher speed has gone.

Yesterday it was just fine ... and today there is nothing left !

Can i fix this anyway !?

Shift + W = initialising sound doesen´t work !!! and in the sound menu all seems to be normal for me !

yes ... the settings for the sound are ok !

is it possible to reconfigure the game (like after the first start of the game, where the game checks the hardware und configeres itself ?!)

No, Shift + K is to skip the current song.

DerDude, to get a fresh configuration, delete (or backup if you want) cfg.txt in the LFS main folder. LFS will make a new fresh clean cfg.txt when it starts up.

bah.. i can never remember what it is.. because usually if something goes wrong the whole computer freezes up lol (but thats only happened twice because XP doesnt recognize my wheel when i unplug it and plug it back in because the calibration gets screwed when computer retsarts)

I have installed the game again and now the sound is fine as before ... :-)

.. but stupidly i have to reconfigure all settings i have done in the past !! :-(
