Personally I think they are all pretty awful and;

1, wouldn't catch my attention
2, wouldn't make me want to go on the internet and find out more
3, makes it sound unproffesional

I just think what the Devs have done is the best, it explains what it is.. An Online Racing Simulator.

thats an obvious joke by someone who i guess was in the irc channel at the time... you know its not just me who notices you like to use other people work a little too much and taking 4 posts to respect their will its beggining to get annoying.

1) in the last thread you created about slogans. you started with 4. one was mine and i politely requested you to remove it. you didnt do it, took me 4 posts of repetitive chitchat and then someone did it for you. thread deleted.

2) who else has noticed it? i dunno man, and honestly dont care if the world notices it or not. i think its enough for the author to notice it. its not a matter of how many ppl notice it. it wont make your effort any more ethical if only 1 or thousands of people notice it.

Driving at the limit has never been so affordable.

I don't know what is the purpose of these slogans printed on a shirt, is it

a) to attract other people into LfS
b) to tell something deeper about LfS

I voted assuming it's the a one mainly because some of the slogans, while they are good looking things from a LfS licensed perspective, might not seem so understandable to "outsiders"

Anyways, it's a poll so we'll get the answer to my question in the popularity of different types of slogans if people will think about this when voting :)

I'm gonna get myself a t-shirt printed with NFSU?STFU! on it, and then underneath, in smaller letters "Printed without consent of person who realised that NFSU and STFU go together quite well".

And the great thing is, I can do what I like with it! Hurrah for teh internet...

but the "NFSU?STFU!" one is quite good also.

every single time I mention "Live for Speed" I get the answer "Yes I know, I'm playing #2 and it's..." then me again: "NO NO.. LIVE for speed.." the other party "oh? I don't know that one".

I liked the slogan which went something like "Live for Speed - or would you rather install new sideskirts" or something like that.
"Live For Speed: The Worst Arcade Game Ever" is best of the list, even though you will be on Kid's shitlist for ever you use it :D

I had to go with Online Racing Simulator and only that. The others, when picturing public response, just don't say enough. Joe Public will probably draw the correct conclusion from Online Racing Simulator. While Simulator Racing Online is more correct, it simply doesn't "ring". Or does it say exactly what I'm complaining about? Or exactly the opposite...? Does it actually "ring"? Hey, where's the Ring in this game? I need to get laid...

Personally, I'm for the more viscerally engaging mental image.

"Inhale... Countersteer.... Exhaaaale.... "

Still my favorite.

I like the "Live For Speed - Because I can't afford a race car..." one I made up, it is funny and straight to the point....

However, I DON'T understand why people like "Live for Speed, or die trying" -- think about it really hard, it doesn't make sense. You are 'trying' to live for speed? What is the part stopping you from living or trying to live for this task? :really: Doesn't make sense to me.... that, and it is a similar phrase commonly heard in hip hop lyrics, not too original, but an idea I guess :shrug:

I made it up, but I'm too drunk to explain it. It had something to do with Simpsons, but I'm not gonna tell it right now... Let's see tomorrow if I can

EDIT: WoW, If I can see correct, this is my #100 post. At leaast it's a good post.

Ok, so where is "the worst arcade game ever"?? I thought it's on the poll.. It should be, it's great, and it really suits to be on the T-shirt...
I don't know why is the "Online racing simulator" the number one?? It's a description for a game, not a thing to be on the T-shirts.. To be honest, that sounds to me, like in real life, there is Online racing, and LFS simulates that??! It sounds like that, don't you think.. Like it is trying to simulate the Online racing, :D but it's not, it's trying to simulate real life racing/driving!

The problem with that one Boris, is that only insiders would get it. If you wore the shirt out, and someone saw it they're more likely to ignore LFS, if they ever came across it.
