From a drivers perspective, that is true, but on the other hand, sudden acceleration caused by an object of great mass passing the same coordinates at the same time might have a rather lethal result too...

You'd have to pronounce that "mightent" in order to avoid a spasm in your tounge, wouldnt you? Even so, "might not" seems more comfortable for the oral musculature to me. :D
