shud it be working if i hav done the above things?
is it faulty?
yes.
the lights and the turning is that it is calibrating.
so what happens then... you go to the logitech profiler - can you open this on your desktop?
Also the game controllers should see that there is the wheel installed and if you go in there say for instance if you press the pedals it should record movement (this does not happen when you open the profiler btw)
IIRC some people did have issues if they had other logictech things installed - like a logitech mouse etc...
HTH.
also make sure you install it right the wheel has to be unplugged until the installer asks you to plug it in (i heard from problems caused by plugging it in before already)
here a guide how to setup the wheel in the logi profiler once properly installed http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=2178816&postcount=1
there is also a nice .gif animation in the lfsmanual for how to set it up in lfs http://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Image:HowToAssignAxis_Ani.gif
i read in the other thread you do not have a power source so i doubt that it will work fine?? as there will be no force feedback etc?
@Troy, thankyou for posting the stuff that i looked for and could not easily find in a 5 minute coffee break :thumb:

the power source has been sorted now i got an adaptor as the power is the same just different plugs
ive tried it on my ps2 aswell and the same happens, it will find it but it will give no ouput from the controls

it finds it on the game but again nothing will show when u press the pedals and move the wheel, so u cant set the controls

i realy do hope that i dont get made to look stupid here cause i hav missed something realy simple (as per usual)
but then it would be better than having a faulty wheel i guess.haha
