i just purchased this wheel yesterday and i tried it on the s2 demo and the when i pressed the gas pedal it would release the gas and same with the brakes so can anyone tell me how to correct this in detail please.

If i understand you correctly i think you have combined axis turned on. Look in the control options. Sorry i cant be too detailed i dont have lfs open.

If I understood what you meant try changing gas/brake pedals to invert.
