XFR/UFR League Season 2

Sign up for Season 2 is now open* (http://www.n1racing.org/tnrl/signup.html)

This season we will have five races:03/11/05 Fern Bay Green
10/11/05 Kyoto National
17/11/05 South City Town
24/11/05 Aston National
01/12/05 Blackwood GP
Rules (http://members.surfeu.fi/pikkih/league/rules.htm) are the same as Season 1

*If we get more than 20 sign ups, some sort of pre-qualifying is held (hotlaps or some online qualifying). Top ten from the last season are automatically qualified for this season. More info on October 31st

EDIT:We have reached the 20 sign up line. So if one more signs up we will have pre qualifying in form of hotlapping. Everyone have to do a hotlap time on Blackwood GP and Aston National tracks (using the same car as one will be using during the season). The hotlaps should be uploaded to the LFS World. Deadline is November 1st 12:00 CET. Drivers who names are in green in first post are qualified already.

....only managed to get to one round in the first season, but should be around a little more for this one, so should be there for most the rounds I hope. Really enjoyed the races I did last time out, cheers for continuing this league :)

Who lives in England and Portugal do the races at 19:00, this is not compatible if you work or if you have school until late hours.

CheersWell practicing is always good :) You might have to do the 2 hotlap times, Blackwood and Aston Nat. But still no need for them, no more than 20 sign ups atm.

I must be going blind, I went and did hotlaps on Blackwood and Kyoto National! I spent a good 2 hours on Kyoto aswell! hah I'm an idiot. Oh well, practice is practice.

I explained my reason when I signed up, ISP trouble that should have been sorted long before now and would've been but for the ineptitiude of my ISP :(

its not fair... i paced myself so well that my tires were almost cold and had almost no wear by the lap 17 and when i start pushing hard i flip over... i kept reminding myself to be carefull on last corner but i didnt remind myself on lap 18..:x i also crashed directly into a wall few laps before that but got no suspension damage.

i was hoping to hold onto 2nd but of course i have to let myself down...

It was nice racing with some clean and skilled drivers for a change... i just cant believe i flipped....

good racing anyways... but i feel soo bad... I cant imagine how bad Peter SOlberg felt when he hit the kangaroo in austrailia.....

I missed Gunde tonight...But Stocky was there and was best UFr..congrats.
I rolled once in Sprint. I had an accident in main because my firewall came on with a message and i went to the desktop, later on when nearly catching Kalle i rolled again...:pillepall :schwitz: . I think i was rewarded with a 6 th. place.
Was a great race with BBO for the first 7 laps.

Well, it was a hard and long season, with lots of close racing and fun. I had to fight all the time to get my points, and had to concentrate all the time. I wanna thank all who made this possible this possible, the whole Triple 7 Racing team for their support and the fun we have, Kalle for doing the work and admin the league, all who shared their sets with me :smileypul and the rest I met during the whole season.

Some facts:
Four different race-winners (Three Jump, Peter Hum, Stocky and VTX).
Two different drivers took pole position (Three Jump, Peter Hum).
First ever race win for the UF GTR (in XFR/UFR League) thanks to Stocky's great performance in Kyoto National.

What a way to end the season. Great fights all round, clean racing, a well run league.

I had my first points of the season:D and could of had more, if a £^%$^£$% up wasn't made on the Main race, but throughtly enjoyable event.

Congrats to Three_Jump on retaining his title, and also, thanks to T7R for all their support.
