Competition Suggestion

I have some Improvement suggestions... for example to include this rolling start tool and have the option of a warm up lap, to set a race on laps and time (like in F1: about 300km and max 2h)... and so on and so on.... well I cannot say how often it was suggested here...

well... and I do not know how often new track areals are suggested... so... i want to know your opinion about my following idea for everyone who want to have a new track! I am interrested what the Devs are thinking about it, too.


I think if we want to propose a track, than a concrete proposual... I'd like to see somekind of competition, that there 'll be one thread where everyone can propose a drawn track areal, send it to the Develloppers... after a deadline, ten or twenty proposuals will be released and can be voted by the community. The "best" one will be included in S3 aditional to the tracks the Develloppers will include...

In addition to the rolling starts, what about a form of the 1970 Le Mans Start?

On the maximum lengths shorter than an hour and both time and laps cap, plus 1. I suggest that instead of just "1" for lap number for a timed race, it should be "10/1:30:34" for lap 10, 1 hour 30 minutes and 40 seconds to go. For the last lap, that would have to be 1/Last lap.

On the tracks, I suggest something similar should be done for cars as well. Post models, best models get included in LFS. This would help out Eric a little as well.

Tracks it would be harder, but for cars it would be definately possible. Maybe a reward (t-shirt and mug) for one that gets put in to LFS.
